About Us... Our division includes seven Ph.D. psychologists with primary responsibility for the undergraduate program (BA). We have a strong program and rank first in number of majors in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Our program still provides students with small class sizes and the opportunity to get to know and work with their professors. We also work closely with a graduate studies program in School Psychology, which is a separate program that offers training at both the Master's and the Doctoral levels. |

The psychology major at Alfred University is unique among undergraduate programs because we offer students the option of five different tracks, including Clinical-Counseling, Child Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Industrial- Organizational Psychology, and General Psychology. The Clinical-Counseling track is particularly popular and unusual because this track provides students with supervised experience in working directly with clients, an opportunity that many of our students have found advantageous when moving on to graduate programs. You are welcome to come visit us or to contact us for more information: |
